German Press FAM Cooks with Chef Darin

Last week, Visit Savannah’s media relations team hosted a group of travel journalists from Germany in partnership with the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s tourism office. While in town, the group visited Chef Darin’s Kitchen Table to learn how to prepare a full meal including shrimp deviled eggs, homemade biscuits, vinaigrette cole slaw, quick-braised collard greens, Savannah red rice, buttermilk fried chicken and buttermilk pie in homemade pie crust. After completing the meal, the group sat down together at Chef Darin’s table and were treated to the fruits of their labor.
